Welcome to Whisky Tango Foxtrot, a group of online international friends who were formed prominently from RTS gamers. The games we mainly play are Rise of Nations and the Age of Empires series, but our members play other RTS games as well as games in other genres, particularly Guild Wars.

Members of Whisky Tango Foxtrot have a varied age group and skill level, but all have the same sense of sporting and friendly personalities that are trademark to the clan.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot have been around for many years, and were originally called the Old Gits (OGs), usually forming to play Age of Empires during the heady days of Wireplay (BT's gaming service). With the demise of Wireplay the clan upped sticks and moved to Microsoft's Gaming Zone to play games. The clan's ethos is one of friendliness and fun gaming with an emphasis on those qualities rather than skill levels. Following this period, the clan reinvented itself as the successful Infidels Clan, a successful and influential group in the Rise of Nations community. Much of this site is dedicated to Rise of Nations.

Our main aim is to stay respected and respect others in the gaming scene, to be helpful and friendly wherever and whenever we can.

We have open forums on this site, you don't have to be a member to join in and discuss things with us. Pop along, we'd love to hear from you.

What Is An Infidel?

In Literature

Definition: One who doubts or rejects a particular doctrine, system, or principle.

Etimology:Middle English infidele, from Old French, from Latin nfidlis, disloyal

Synonyms:Unbeliever, Freethinker, Sceptic.

Interpretation:What you choose to disbelieve is up to you.

As we enter another phase of your gaming history, we decided a new name would be in order, the name of Whisky Tango Foxtrot was synonymous with Rise of Nations, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot enables us to move beyond this association.

The Rushians

You could say a rush is any attack that comes when you don't want it to. But for most purposes, the rush happens as early in the game as it is feasible. For RoN this means in the first 3-5 minutes. At this time people are just getting to terms with what nation they are, where their scout is, messaging their team mates as to what map this is and checking on how much beer is left to hand.
